Introduction
I have always liked to travel, and I am fortunate that
my parents, who immigrated to the US from Germany before World
War II, could make trips back to Germany to visit family when I
was a boy. This early travel ingrained in me a curiosity about
the world, and its different physical, cultural, and economic
characteristics.
In this section of my web site, I will share some of my traveling
experiences, describe any particularly outstanding
places I found, and recommend any restaurants, lodging, or
sights. In addition I will develop a photo gallery for each trip
presenting my best photos of the trip. Hopefully, you will
be inspired to plan a trip to those areas which interest you.
I have organized this part of my web site by trip. My focus will
be to keep current with the trips as I take them, so the
information is recorded while it is still fresh.
As I get time I will add older trips which will focus more on
photos rather than recommendations. Some of these will be from my
initial trips to Germany and should provide an interesting
history.
