Introduction

I have always liked to travel, and I am fortunate that my parents, who immigrated to the US from Germany before World War II, could make trips back to Germany to visit family when I was a boy. This early travel ingrained in me a curiosity about the world, and its different physical, cultural, and economic characteristics.

This section presents photo galleries of some of my travels. Hopefully, they will inspire you to plan a trip to see some of these areas for yourself.

I have organized the photo galleries by continent and country. Within a country there may be a further division be city or geographical area if the number of photos is large. In some cases the photos may be from multiple trips.
