I am retired
and pursuing my interests in travel, and photography. My web site
is designed to share my experiences through photo galleries and
travel information. I also have set up this home page to provide
news feeds and a second page to provide links to information
sources I use on a regular basis.
My travel goals
are to make two to three trips per year, with one preferably
outside of the United States. My trips in the US always include
visiting National Parks or areas operated by the National Park
Service such as National Battlefields, National Monuments,
National Sea Shores, etc. The Park Service manages 391 areas so I
will be traveling for some time in the future. The photo

Since I am also
interested in photography, I always take lots of photos when I
travel. The best of the photos for each National Park can be
accessed through the "National Park Photos" tab at the top of
this page. For trips I generally add some text presenting the
highlights along with the photos of the trip. These can be found

Photography is
an unending pursuit of trying to get the perfect photo. I use a
Canon Xsi Digital Rebal DSLR camera and a Nikon point and shot
camera. I do most of my photo editing in Adobe Lightroom and
Adobe Photoshop. I also use, when necessary, Photomatix for high
dynamic range photos and Portrait Professional Pro for portraits.
I belong the the Photographic Society of America, a local camera
club, and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
